Settings knob rows: label wrapping at the 1024px

Task 7289 · Done · Coder · created · updated

Found while verifying Task 7231 on the live slot stack (Settings › Tasks, one unsaved edit). 1. At 1024px with the sidebar expanded, labels such as "Done-action attempts" and "Manifest transcript wait" wrap onto two lines while the provenance column has spare width; let the label track take precedence over the control track at the floor (a 150px number field is wider than its value needs). 2. In the two-column layout (a card 308–500px wide), an overridden row's "Reset to …" sits on its own line under the control, so the dirty row is ~30px taller than its neighbours; consider placing it inline beside the unit, or a fixed row height. 3. The unsaved-row highlight's left inset bar is visible only on the label side; with the row's 12px negative margin it can clip against the card border at narrow widths — check it at 760px with the sidebar expanded. Out of scope: search/save logic, any API change. Done means: - Screenshots at 1024px (sidebar expanded) and 800px (sidebar expanded) with one unsaved edit show one-line labels for the Tasks › Automation card and an even row height. - `./dc check full` green.

Outcome

Settings knob rows: labels take precedence (one line at 1024/800/760), "Reset to …" under the label keeps rows even (51 vs 85px), unsaved bar no longer clipped. Visual check done. PR #6002 merged via merge lane; local full gate timed out/memory-reaped (lane gate used). Follow-ups: draft 7390.
