Automations, Compliance matrix and Onboarding guide: small

Goal: three smaller surfaces get their remaining rough edges smoothed. Errors read as human causes, nothing wraps awkwardly, and status never looks like a broken link. The items below are goals, not literal steps: decline any with a reason. Automations list (/automations, 1024–1440px) 1. A failing row shows a short human cause (e.g. "Database unreachable"). The raw exception text moves to a hover or the run's detail. 2. The failure line is clamped to one line with an ellipsis, full text on hover, like the facts column. 3. An empty filter result names the filter ("No org automations"), not "Nothing matches these filters". Compliance matrix (1280px and 390px) 4. The focus ring on a row's Scanning badge clears descenders (padding or outline-offset). 5. "Result from 10/7/2026, 10:32:00 AM" never wraps a lone "AM" in the table cell. 6. The header's "Scanning…" and a row's "Rescanning…" share one disabled style. Onboarding guide (Org Admin, 390px and desktop) 7. The same guide shows one progress format everywhere: the More sheet's "0%" and the badge's "0/5" disagree. 8. The desktop dock panel is sized to its content instead of the full viewport height. 9. "Ask the platform operator" on "Connect your forge" renders as a muted status or badge, so it does not read as a broken link. Out of scope: the run ledger and retention; scan logic, rules and packs; the guide's step contents and which settings an org admin may edit. Done means: - A screenshot of each item at the widths named. - Vitests for the behaviour changes. - `./dc check full` is green. Consolidates drafts 6912, 6890 and items 1, 3 and 4 of 6915 (Task 6937).

Shipped all 9 items: automations show a server-worded failure cause on one clamped line and named empty filters; compliance gets the focus ring, unbroken timestamps and one busy style; onboarding gets one N/M progress format, a content-sized dock and note pills. Quick gate, vitests and smokes green. Merged as #5752; the deploy for that merge was superseded by later merges. Follow-ups filed as draft 6973.
