Identify and implement top code reduction opportunities

Identify top 5 opportunities to massively reduce the amount of code (lines of code) in any part of the repo: - Similar functionality that can be unified and reused - Code that has been valuable but no more - A front end component or a group of them duplicate another component/page functionality. Use the most modern and nice looking - etc. Now implement them :)

Repo-wide LOC sweep: duplication already ~0. Shipped 3 console unifications (tag editor on ui/AsyncMultiLookup, one stick-to-bottom hook, glyphs on ui/icons; −137 lines) in PR #7967, lane-merged. Deferred: identity contraction (auth data model) and product-surface deletions. Filed draft 13881 (cross-org tag catalogue 422). Visual check done: chips, keyboard picks, Help drawer glyphs good at 1280/390. Memory: none applied; proposed 1 qa.
