Identify and implement top five code reduction

Identify top 5 opportunities to massively reduce the amount of code (lines of code) in any part of the repo: - Similar functionality that can be unified and reused - Code that has been valuable but no more - A front end component or a group of them duplicate another component/page functionality. Use the most modern and nice looking - etc. Now implement them :)

Repo re-censused at its mechanical floor; the one arm a decision-free fact clears is retired: the older-node securestorage_dir/shared wire on roster, lease intent, console grant and MicroVM rail, both halves (−630 lines, 39 files), after a live fleet version census from nodes.config_snapshot. Quick gate green, 12k+ tests pass, 3 blind lanes pass, no UI surface. PR #7957 queued in the merge lane. Remaining levers owner-gated, with two new facts in the report (census method; git pointer fully mirrored). Memory: used mem-25288, mem-36366; proposed 1 recipe.
