Production QA default automations owner organization

Task 12451 · Done · Coder · created · updated

Found by Task 12415 on dev (app.dev.jaah.ai), signed in as an operator with the console in the Operator org, opening a tenant project (Gmind › jaah, Gmind › t5773-sibling) › Production QA. What happens: - Clicking **Create default automations** creates the 4 automations owned by the operator-plane identity ("Jaah support"), not a member of the project's org. The tab lists them as **Active**. - The first incident that reaches them flips the automation to **Failing**: "the trigger's owner is in another organization — re-create it as a member of this one". No task is filed. (Observed: Sentry incident INC-1 on t5773-sibling, automation went Failing, tasks: [].) - The only fix is deleting all 4 and re-creating them after switching into the org from the account menu. The tab gives no hint. Requirements: 1. The Production QA tab's **Create default automations** (and the route behind it) must create automations a member of the project's org owns, or refuse with a clear message ("Switch to <org> to create these") when the caller is acting from another org — never create a set that cannot fire. 2. The Automations list and the Production QA tab must show such an owner-outside-org automation as broken before it fires (not Active), with the "re-create as a member" action one click away. 3. The operator-acting-as path for Connect deploys should be checked the same way (record-only deploy triggers worked here, but confirm they cannot hit the same owner rule). Out of scope: gate, filing or ingestion logic; any org's plan switches. Done means: as an operator in the Operator org, Create default automations on a tenant project either yields 4 automations that file a task on a signed Sentry sample, or refuses with a message naming the org to switch to — covered by an API test and seen on dev.

Outcome

Create default automations now refuses a caller from another org (operator acting-as included), naming the org to switch to. Outside-owned automations show Failing before firing, with one-click Take ownership. Quick gate green; PR #7673 merged (8fda15cc); its deploy was superseded.
