Reduce codebase size through refactoring opportunities
Identify top 5 opportunities to massively reduce the amount of code (lines of code) in any part of the repo:
- Similar functionality that can be unified and reused
- Code that has been valuable but no more
- A front end component or a group of them duplicate another component/page functionality. Use the most modern and nice looking
- etc.
Now implement them :)
Outcome
Full census found no dead code left; folded 5 semantic copies onto shared homes (Stat tiles, KpiBand/TableFrame, DetailStatus retry, FactsGrid + signup fields + sx tokens, API test readers/fixtures): −183 net lines, 108 files. Quick gate + 1,569 web / 1,686 API tests green; review, security and verifier lanes pass; visual check done (dashboard, task Metrics 1280/390, create-org, playbook). PR #7504 queued to the merge lane. Massive levers (census oracles 28K, Windows 15.6K, API client types 9.6K, macOS 7K, legacy launch + CLI locks 8.8K) are ADR decisions, measured in the report, not taken. Memory: used mem-31667, mem-31297, mem-31277; proposed 1 qa.
