Retire SDK v1, repoint connector links

Task 10492 · Queued · Coder · created · updated

Original work item (epic Task 10454, verbatim): - Remove Draft state from anywhere of the jaah-ce, agent-sdk, agent-connectors. It needs to be removed at the source and then propagated using standard mechanism - remove any references on the source of documents (especially do not mention any brands) - agent-sdk. must borrow and share the process from jaah-ce, as well as terms. We want them mirrors from the main repo. Only main branch for now - do we want the same with agent-connector? make sure it is up to date with agent-sdk - Look for any sensitive or internal information or any brands - scrub all old versions from all three repos Full settled inputs: the epic's `prd` and `architecture` artifacts (Task 10454; read with `task_read`/`artifact_read`). Decisions quoted below are verbatim from them. Child F — SDK v1 retirement with S4 behaviour, plus R8 links (architecture §1.6). Needs Child C's v2 connectors in the monorepo; lands after the rename campaign (K6) and right before H. Requirements (PRD verbatim): R6 "SDK v1 is gone: no vendored v1 SDK in the node bundle, no tag-sync tool or pin, no `PLACE_V1`/v1 supervisor path, no manifest-1 acceptance; S4 behaviour for existing rows. The `.deb`/node bundle builds without it." S4 "Already-registered manifest-1 (SDK v1) agents in any org: after retirement they cannot be dispatched; the console shows them as unsupported with a one-sentence reason ("SDK v1 agents are no longer supported — re-register on SDK v2"), and registering a manifest-1 agent is refused with that sentence. No silent failure, no data deletion." R8 "Product surfaces pointing at the connectors repo or a ref (console Catalog link/defaults, docs page "contribute a catalog connector", READMEs) name `main` and remain valid links." S5 "Every in-product default, doc and README that names a connectors/SDK ref names `main`." Delete: `apps/jaahd/vendor/agent-sdk/` (and its row in `apps/jaahd/vendor/README.md:34`); `tools/sync_agent_sdk.py` and its test; `tools/jaah_agent_run.py` and its fixtures and tests; the SDK placement at `tools/build_jaahd_bundle.py:358-370` and `packaging/nfpm.yaml:162-163`; `PLACE_V1` and the v1 branch of `sdk_capable_nodes` (`apps/api/app/agent_resolution.py:254-284`); the v1 launch fields at `apps/api/app/fleet_verdicts.py:482-486` (`entrypoint`, `install`, `sdk_range`, `runtime_floor`; lines 495-501 stay); the v1 supervisor launch kind `agent` on the node (`apps/jaahd/agent_process.py` manifest-1 handling); `sdk_dependency_errors` and the DD20 check (`tools/manifest_check.py:300-313,501`). `tools/manifest_check.py`: a manifest with no `manifest` key or `manifest = 1` is refused with exactly `SDK v1 agents are no longer supported — re-register on SDK v2`; `is_acp_manifest` stays the single predicate. Existing rows: `agent_resolution.placement_class` returns new `PLACE_UNSUPPORTED` for a stored non-ACP row; dispatch refuses it with the S4 sentence; `GET /api/agents` adds optional `"unsupported": "<sentence>"`; the console Agents list shows a muted badge with that sentence on hover (follow `docs/standards/ui-style-guide.md`); the task agent picker excludes such rows; `agent_bundles.refresh` keeps the row and records the sentence. No migration (version lives in `agents.manifest` JSONB). R8 links: `apps/web/src/pages/agents/api.ts:115` `CONNECTORS_REPO_URL` → repo root `https://github.com/jaah-ai/agent-connectors`; docs page `apps/docs/content/using-jaah/agents/contribute-a-catalog-connector.md:17,29` → Ref `main`; `tools/check_docs_build.py:78`; `tools/link-check/mlc_config.json:10`; any default Ref `develop` for these repos in the console → `main`. Placement: lands right before H so the window where v1 catalog connectors stop and v2 are not yet published is one deploy long. Credentials & reach: - AC4 / AC6 / AC8 console flows on dev; node census on dev | `me/jaah/debug/main/operator-login` (operator; switches tenants), `https://app.dev.jaah.ai` | **verified**: `credential_get` succeeded; `GET /api/health` → 200 - `./dc check full`, unit and gate oracles | nothing beyond the worktree | n/a Out of scope: - Do NOT delete any `agents` row or rewrite stored refs (H's closing migration). Do NOT write to any mirror. Do NOT change the SDK v2 API. - Do NOT rename or change the product's `draft` task state or the SDK spec's "draft task" wording (D1). - Do NOT change any repo's visibility (D8); do NOT publish packages to PyPI/npm. - Do NOT relicense agent-sdk or agent-connectors (Apache-2.0 stays); do NOT change the CE license's terms beyond removing the draft banner and origin line. - Do NOT remove functionally required third-party names (S1) — provider CLIs, protocols, dependencies, forge names. - Do NOT edit monorepo files that ship to no mirror for §5 hygiene (S2) (the `skynet` rename alone is exempt, A2); do NOT rewrite the monorepo's own history. - Do NOT change jaah-ce's `ce-staging` environment or the edition seam / API cut. - Do NOT edit the mirrors directly except the one-time history reset and branch/tag/release/package deletion in R5; every content change lands in the monorepo and reaches the mirror by its publish workflow. - Do NOT change the SDK v2 API or the `jaah.ai` extension spec semantics. - Do NOT write to any mirror repo before the final publish child (A5). Done means: - AC6 (PRD verbatim): "`test ! -d apps/jaahd/vendor/agent-sdk && test ! -e tools/sync_agent_sdk.py`; `grep -rn "PLACE_V1\|sync_agent_sdk\|vendor/agent-sdk" apps tools packaging` → zero; `./dc check full` green; node bundle build (`tools/build_jaahd_bundle.py` via the gate) succeeds. States: (i) new manifest-1 registration → refused with the S4 sentence (dev console, Agents › Register agent with a manifest-1 sub-path); (ii) an existing manifest-1 agent row → console shows it unsupported with the S4 sentence, cannot be selected for a task; (iii) manifest-2 agents → unchanged, a task on report-sample completes (AC4)." — (i) and (ii) on the dev console as operator after the dev deploy, with screenshots; (iii) report-sample live (deferred — runs in H once `agent-connectors@main` is published; locally proven by C's tests). - AC8 local part (PRD verbatim): "dev console Agents › Catalog "contribute"/repo link opens `https://github.com/jaah-ai/agent-connectors` (repo root, branch main); docs page "Contribute a catalog connector" names Ref `main`" — oracle: console click on dev after deploy; `grep -n "main" apps/docs/content/using-jaah/agents/contribute-a-catalog-connector.md`. - The unsupported badge is legible, uses the existing muted badge component, and the hover text is the exact sentence (phone width checked). - Jaah Deploy of the merged PR to dev is green.
