Identify and implement top five code reduction

Identify top 5 opportunities to massively reduce the amount of code (lines of code) in any part of the repo: - Similar functionality that can be unified and reused - Code that has been valuable but no more - A front end component or a group of them duplicate another component/page functionality. Use the most modern and nice looking - etc. Now implement them :)

Audited the tree (jscpd 0.04% literal / 0.65% structural dup, 0 dead TS exports) and shipped the five best real cuts: icon factory (−132), table-driven dashboard routes (−26), api.ts refusal helper, dead error-line picker; SaveRow tried and reverted (+26). Net −174 lines, quick gate green, review PASS, visual check clean. PR #7051 queued to the merge lane. Large pools (tests, prose, Windows, NodeLink v1, legacy columns) named as gated follow-ups.
