Fix red develop 8627cc965698

The merge lane found `develop` red at `8627cc965698baee35f1648e2d395e1eb0425f40` on its own: no queued PR merges until it is fixed. Failing (tests and gate stages): - `tests/test_verb_call_contracts.py::test_the_source_scan_is_not_vacuous` - `jaahd-unit-pytest` The whole gate log: artifact `10404` on lane task 10267. Make `develop` pass its full gate again. Open a PR as usual: the merge lane merges a PR that fixes some of these and adds no failure even while `develop` is red.

Develop is already green: PR #7000 (Task 10254) landed the same heartbeat call-site fix. The jaahd suite and test_verb_call_contracts pass on 7c8c50ad1. Closed duplicate PR #7002. Memory: none applied.
