Identify and implement top 5 code reduction

Identify top 5 opportunities to massively reduce the amount of code (lines of code) in any part of the repo: - Similar functionality that can be unified and reused - Code that has been valuable but no more - A front end component or a group of them duplicate another component/page functionality. Use the most modern and nice looking - etc. Now implement them :)

Top-5 reduction pass: tree is already deduplicated (0.03% py / 303 ts dup lines), so landed the five real folds (web lookups, client-page/now hooks, api clocks+cursors+escape, jaahd nodelink/platform stubs, shared node-delete/run-status) at −76 net lines; quick gate green; PR #6955 queued in merge lane. Deferred large levers named in report (migration re-squash, useAsyncResource→react-query, redirect shims, identity dual-write).
